Ross Jeffries was basically one of the creators of the dating advice community for males on the internet, but I suppose he has become old fashioned and compared to writers such as Mr. L. Rx, David Deangelo, and Mystery his writings are less correct on the whole. Some of his matters and techniques get results, but some are contentious, and some have the appearance of a complete bunk.
Jeffries text "How To Get The Women You Desire into Bed" could very well be thought to be outdated, everlasting, trashy, and exciting all at the same time.
Again, like many of the other Pros, his strategies are NOT situationaly calculated. They don't and won't work on all sorts of women. And they would not work for ALL men who read through his text or see his web page.
I think that the basic problem with Ross's book is that it is only useful for some select categories of men (guys who have weak self esteem for example could possibly appreciate his book) and for a few select attitude type of ladies (for example gamers and manipulating women) It will not succeed on all women so to the extent he represents this is how you deal with women - his techniques are a bunk.
In general there is some effect but not much. Not suitable for everyone. So we will give him a 4 on the scam-o-meter.
